Laptop Drive:
July 21 - August 6, 2017
If you have any broken or old laptops in your house that you wouldn't mind donating to our organization, we are doing a Laptop Drive. We are collecting old and broken laptops, fixing them, and donating them to a select few schools in the Vallejo City Unified School District. These schools are trying to implement more STEM based lessons, which is hard to do without adequate technology to assist them.
Please email at if you have any laptops or any questions about the program.

The Angel Effect is a Non-Profit Organization determined to help the underprivileged women and youth of the world.
When poverty-struck children and mothers want to turn their lives around, they need someone to help get them on the right track. Someone to provide support so that they can take control of their lives for the better. That is where we come in. Our goal is to help jump-start the lives of these individuals.
Through a spectrum of programs (fundraisers, donation drives, etc.) we can provide these individuals with anything they need, from clothes and school supplies to monetary support.

Our first goal as an organization is to help Flor Maria, who is 54 years old, and lives in Urrao, Colombia. She has decided to set up a business preparing and selling arepas (type of native bread) in her house.
She is asking for economic support to get capital for her business and buy a pot to cook food, a grinding machine, maize, and fix an old arepa cooler.
The goal is to raise $400 through our programs to meet her needs and give her the monetary support she needs to climb her way out of poverty through the likes of a small business.
Our intention is to not only help Flor through monetary support, but to do so in a way that will allow her to become self-sustainable and make her own money, changing her life, and the lives of her neighbors, for the better.

Our Second Step:

Our Second Goal as an organization is to collect old or broken laptops from a neighborhood donation drive. We will attempt to fix as many laptops as we can independently and then donate them to schools in the Vallejo City Unified School District.
Our goal is to collect, fix, and deliver a minimum of 20 laptops, because that is enough for a full class, and it can be used in rotation to allow all students to use the laptops.
